Always make a notice of defect to property maintenance!
Please contact the building´s property maintenance or manager directly in all cases of defects related to your flat and building. The contact info of the property maintenance company is located on the building´s noticeboard, among other places. The property maintenance company´s mailbox, in which you may leave a notice of defect, is located in the building. For other problems, please contact the area house manager directly.
You may contact the Sivakka office for matters related to rent payment and changing flats. You may refer questions related to the economics and development of the living environment to the resident committee of the building/area. After the resident committee has discussed the issue, it is forwarded to the house manager if needed.
The following work can be ordered from property maintenance during on-call hours:
- water leaks
- leaking radiator vent
- plugged drains (e.g. toilet bowl), not drain traps
- lock of outer door, e.g. lock is broken or key has broken inside of key cylinder
- toilet bowl, sea valve broken or toilet bowl leaks a lot
- radiator in entryway is cold (note! Danger of freezing in sub-zero temperatures)
- notice of defect for lift
- main fuse burned out (not the ones in flat)
- other dangerous situations, such as snow barriers from falling off roof, snow from dangerously falling off roof near walkways, frost damage in yard and parking lot.
