The company manages different types of houses, including terraced houses, balcony access blocks and traditional blocks of flats. The properties range in size from one-room to five rooms and a kitchen. When tenants' life situations change, for instance, in terms of family size or employment, rented property can be traded with another tenant living in one of the other properties owned by the company.

Properties may be rented by means of an application. Vacant properties are offered to applicants with valid applications. New residences are always advertised on the home pages of the company and in the newspapers. All properties owned by Oulun Sivakka Oy and Oulun Tervatalot require the same application form.
